A nice quiet van.

Friday, March 06, 2020

This is my eighth Chrysler minivan. All of them have gone well over 100,000 miles with no problems with engine or transmission. My 2002 went 275 miles with no problems and was retired when the rust took over. This Pacifica is very quiet and a pleasure to drive. The gas mileage is a bit less than the 2014 Town and Country it replaced. I have three complaints on this van. The driver's headrest pushes my head too far foreword. I use a cushion behind my back so that I can sit with my head up straight. The dash came loaded with shiny surfaces that had to be covered with glare free material and flat black paint. This has been a problem with these vans since 2006. The vision at corners to the passengers side is limited. A lot of care must be used at corners to make sure that there are no vehicles coming from the right. This touring L Pluss has many features that make driving safer.

Drives nicer than any vehicle I've ever driven

Friday, September 04, 2020

Bought this with the intention to buy a Toyota Sienna. After test driving both, really no comparison. Pacifica drove and rode much nicer. Controls more user friendly. Took on a 3500 mile trip and my back did not hurt once, also 32mpg on that trip. Lots of room and the kids love the entertainment system. So far at 3 years and almost 70000 miles no issues to mention. I'll try to review again in another 3 years. If your thinking Honda or Toyota, you owe it to yourself to compare Chrysler. Love to drive our Pacifica!

Best I've driven

Friday, February 10, 2023

A great van mini or not. I've been a professional driver most of my working life. As such vans have had a significant amount of time in my experience. Driving Handicapped Accessible vans and busses have also been used. I drove the Pacifica in 2005 (was slated as an SUV but built like a station wagon) The Toyota Sienna too as well as the Dodge Magnum, caravan and Chrysler T&C. All and all a lot of taxi work since 05 and in that time I drove mostly Dodges with bit of Toyota vans and I also have an 05 Odyssey. So I think I am a qualified reviewer. The 2017 is in my opinion the best minivan I have Ever driven. It's comfortable, fast, ergonomic, handles like it's on rails and did I mention that it is Fast. Simply said it's the best I've ever driven up to this point in my life. I recommend the Pacifica to everyone that I know and some that I just overheard they're looking. Last and not the least is looks. The aerodynamics are beautifully seen in the ascetic of the van. It's beautiful and turns heads. You won't be disappointed . Period...
